Meet Natalie

“Bad days happen to everyone. But when one happens to you, just keep doing your best and never let a bad day make you feel bad about yourself.”

Her Story

Natalie is a Mom to three boys and loves every moment of it. But it wasn’t always that way. When she gave up her career and became “just a stay-at-home-mom” — she felt like she lost her identity.

“I’ve always liked being different than everyone else — separated from the pack — so it was hard to find contentment in being a mom — just like everyone else. I quickly found myself isolated, lonely and depressed.”

When her kids entered preschool age, she was invited to join a support group for moms called MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). MOPS soon became the catalyst that changed her perspective on raising a family — and shifted her entire life.

“At MOPS, I began to find myself again. I got to connect with ladies who were in the same boat as me. I was empowered to treasure those priceless years with my children. I was encouraged to find joy in even the most mundane tasks of motherhood. Plus, being in a room filled with 150 women who have just dropped off their kids in childcare is one of the most joyful places you can be!”

Soon enough, Natalie was asked to join the MOPS leadership team — and found a new calling. Or better yet — an evolved calling. She started doing what she had been doing her whole life; using her charisma, high-energy and expertise to inspire and empower other women.

“I had a reason to show up. People were counting on me. Yes, I still had to deal with long days and poopy diapers, but for a few short hours each month I got to be ME. And that energized me to be the best mom I could be the rest of the days in the month.”

Over the years, Natalie has harnessed this energy of connecting and inspiring women and has spent the past 10 years creating resources to teach and share her knowledge. Through her first website,, she educated families on ways to save money and reach their financial goals. Her current endeavor, leverages her passion and skills as a former broadcaster, corporate trainer, speaker and entertainer to empower and entertain Modern Moms through sharing real life, unfiltered.

While Natalie has had some ups and downs throughout her journey, her ability to find herself within her darkest place, and truly step into her full light, is an inspiration to all of us.

We are so grateful to have this confident, lively, smart woman as a Heartfelt Role Model, and we hope you are inspired by her story!

Performing on stage. Currently, I was just in “Scrooge the Musical,” based on the 1970’s British musical film adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol. I wrote a blog on my site, ModMomTV, where I share more about it called, Don’t Be A Mommy Scrooge!

If you could describe your style in one word or phrase, what would it be?
